Educational Leadership Center Inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister

BTC's Leadership Center, launched in October 2018, was inaugurated on February 20, 2019, following the 10 year anniversary celebration of the Bahrain Teachers College. UoB Becomes Associated Institute in the CMS Experiment at CERN

The University of Bahrain has become an Associated Institute in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at the European Nuclear Research Centre (CERN). The announcement was made during the CERN in Bahrain exhibition, hosted by Sheikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research.
CERN has developed the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the largest and most powerful particle accelerator ever built in the world . UoB has already formed two teams from the College of Information Technology and the Department of Mechanical Engineering to take part in CMS experiments conducted on accelerators.

University of Bahrain and Liverpool John Moores University launch Big Data Programme

UoB and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) officially launched the MSC. in big data science and analytics programme last April on the sidelines of the Big Data Symposium 2019. The programme, that will be delivered by UoB starting from September 2019 , will equip participants with state-of-the-art computer science skills to process huge amounts of data, as well as teaching them modern statistical analysis methods...
