The Vision of the Center The change in the pattern of roads and means of transport has led to noticeable economic, social and demographic changes.Following the general policy adopted by the state, in order to provide a better life for its citizens and residents, greater attention was given to this vital sector, and large amounts of money were invested.  As in any development activity, the promotion of transportation and roads had side effects which the state tried to accommodate through its various bodies,  such as the traffic directorate, roads engineering and public health.

The mission of the Center is to serve as the main reference source for  research and studies into transport and roads in the area. It will combine the extensive academic expertise of the University, the professional expertise of the General Committee of Safety on Roads and the consultation with concerned parties.
