Humanities Research Unit (HRS)
Preface
Humanities Research Unit is considered one of the units which form the Deanship of Scientific Research. The unit was established in 2005. The unit is concerned with research in humanities field at the University of Bahrain and other sectors. The unit is also concerned with establishing kind of cooperation with other similar units in the field of scientific research. The unit is working on offering consultancies, holding training sessions and workshops in the field of scientific research.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring the scientific research at the University of I Bahrain and other relative institutes.
- Offering consultancy to the benefited establishments in the humanities field to enhance and develop work at the society.
- Holding training sessions and workshops in the humanities field.
- Establishing contracting research.
Future Plan
- Establishing a data base for research in the humanities field.
- Organizing workshops and related symposiums.
- Encouraging contractual research and consultancy.
