The World Renewable Energy Congress 2016 organized by World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) – UK and University of Bahrain – Bahrain (UOB) will be held on 4-8 December at Crowne Plaza Hotel – Bahrain. The purpose of WREC-2016 Bahrain is to bring together researchers, designers, developers and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of Renewable Energy Technologies. WREC-Bahrain will feature a comprehensive technical programme including keynote speakers, business and industry panels, and vendor exhibits. Also, attractive sessions will be included for successful renewable energy projects in the GCC region and women in renewable energy fields. The Congress will also include an exhibition of a broad range of renewable energy technologies and products for electricity production, heating, cooling, agricultural applications, water desalination and industrial applications.

The University of Bahrain would like to remind all new students in the academic year 2016-2017 to upload their photos on the e-government website which should match the passport guidelines :

  1. The photo should be recent.
  2. A close-up of full head and shoulders.
  3. In a plain white background.

UoB advises its students to strictly follow the guidelines to avoid any delay in issuing their UoB Identification Card. The deadline for uploading the photo is 20/10/2016. Any student who fails to upload their photo or fails to match the guidelines will not be issued an ID.
