The Vice President of Information Technology, Administrative and Financial affairs supervises the group of departments and offices that provide support services and processes for learning and education at the University of Bahrain to achieve its vision, mission, projects and development plans. In addition to the general supervision of the administrative and financial affairs, information technology services, budget preparation, operational and development plans for the Vice President's departments, the Vice President oversees the effectiveness and efficiency of the supporting services and operations and preparing reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Preparation of the University's draft budget for every two financial years including expenses and revenues in accordance with the approved laws and regulations and the financial regulations of the University of Bahrain and presenting it to the University Council for discussion, before submitting it to the Board of Trustees for approval.
  2. Overseeing the efficiency of performance and the integrity accuracy of financial dispositions in the cost centres of all organizational units in the university, and follow up on revenue collection and disbursement of the budget in accordance with the financial regulations of the University of Bahrain and the approved laws and regulations.
  3. Supervising the recruitment of academic and administrative staff at the University, and following up on their implementation with the concerned departments and authorities.
  4. Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative procedures and policies.
