Language is the bearer of a nation’s culture and heritage, the symbol of its identity and the mirror of its character. If languages might undergo disappearance or decline, the Arabic language enjoys this unique feature of immortality among languages since it was accepted by the Almighty to be the language of his words, the Quran. The Almighty says in the Quran, in Surat Al-Hijr 15:09 (translated from Arabic), “We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption)”.
