The program’s philosophy is based on two dimensions. The first is to disseminate and deepen the culture of measurement and evaluation in educational circles, especially programs that need to be built on the scientific and methodological foundations. Linked to this is a knowledge base and broad integration between the two sides of theory and practical application in the field of Educational Measurement and Evaluation. However, the second is to teach student how important measurement and evaluation are and necessary in addressing many of the problems of educational nature, and develop solutions to them through the integration of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  1. To prepare a specialist in the field of Educational Measurement and Evaluation.
  2. To publish the culture of educational measurement and evaluation, among graduates in the field of Educational Measurement and Evaluation.
  3. To help students to employ the appropriate methodology and tools that help them solve educational problems, and through the use of specialized knowledge, tools and applications in the field of Educational Measurement and Evaluation.
  4. To prepare students to be able to measurement and evaluation programs, leading to improved programs and institutions, and development.
  • Practicing psychological counseling after obtaining a special license to practice the profession.
  • Diagnose psychological problems and interpreted in the light guiding theories that are taught.
  • Interview procedures (individual and collective).
  • Plan for the therapeutic strategy guiding the development of strategies according to different guidelines.
  • Abide by the rules of ethical and professional career counseling.
  • Building diagnostic methods (interviews,,,,) and the preparation of reports, psychological tests.
  • Carry out scientific research in the field of counseling.
  • Awareness of the need for continuing professional development.
  • Gain analytical and critical thinking and effective communication skills with others.
  • Acquire dealing with information technology skills

The major conditions for enrolling in this program are:

  1. BA in any major or minor measurement and evaluation branch with a GPA of not less than 2.5 from 4.
  2. BA in any academic field provided the student takes measurement and evaluation courses defined for him/ her by the Psychology Department.
  3. Passing the Psychology Department Interview.
  4. Passing the Psychology Department English Test.
