The program promotes the fullest professional growth of individual students by building their professional competence in the functional areas of marketing. On successful completion of the program students will acquire knowledge & understanding of major issues, theories and practices of marketing and also equips the student with skills required for a career in marketing.

The curriculum of Marketing is composed of 128 credit hours which are divided into; university requirements (11 credit hours); general education requirements (30 credit hours); college requirements (42 credits); major requirements (30 credit hours) and minor requirements (15 credit hours). Students who do not choose a minor track are required to take 45 credit hours as single track requirements.

  • Demonstrate an in depth (major single track) or breadth (major/minor track) understanding of major issues, theories and practice in the different functional areas of business with a considerable emphasis on the role of Marketing in decision-making.
  • Recognize the importance of skills required to compete in today’s market equipped with a solid business foundation along with communication and analytical skills, which will enable them to deal with complex business issues.
  • Develop transferrable and practical skills to manage their own learning and to be confident in applying these skills in a real life context.
  • Contribute positively to society through responsible and ethical practice within their profession.
