The Integrated Sciences Department caters to the needs of all offered programs in the College of Health sciences. It contributes with imperative fundamental knowledge pertaining to different areas in the health sciences.

Our students engage in topics from various disciplines ranging from the biomedical to the social sciences using the best academic practices. Students undertaking our offered courses master the learning outcomes through an integration of the knowledge and the applications to build the groundwork that qualifies them to progress to their chosen area of specialty.

Being on par with the latest technologies, both in the specific discipline and in the dissemination of knowledge, we have adopted different e-learning strategies such as E-Books, E- Quizzes and the use of VLEs, as well as ensuring internal accountability via using different assessment and feedback processes. Moreover, our qualified and experienced faculty provide our students with unparalleled guidance throughout the different courses, facilitating learning via using both lectures and interactive methods , as well as, taking into consideration the individual differences and backgrounds of our students in devising our teaching strategies. We believe in our students’ role and engaging them in the educational process.

External accountability is met through our awareness of the wider contexts which is clearly reflected in our courses, where our courses are dynamically reviewed and modified to correspond to the stake holder needs, the pedagogy changes and to meet the quality assurance requirements. Thus, our students are exposed to best standards, culturally sensitive and vibrant learning environment to nurture them and help them reach their potentials.
