Prof. Alnaser is the Vice President for Academic Programs and Higher Studies, UoB. He is the President of Middle East region of the International Solar Energy Society and Chairman of Bahrain Astronomical Society. He authored and co-authored more than 120 journal scientific papers and wrote 40 books in Physics, Astronomy, Renewable Energy, Environment and Traffic Physics. He is the founder of (JAAUBAS) and the General Secretary for Arab Renewable Energy Association. His area of expertise is in Material Physics, particularly the ultrasonic attenuation in metals at low and room temperatures; Renewable Energy, Astronomy and Astrophysics; Environmental Physics.

MohamedEl Hilo
PhD in Physics, University of Wales, UK
 
Dr. El-Hilo is the Dean of Science College and acting Dean of Health Science College. He has more than 20 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience. He held many positions, including Assistant Professor at Al-Bayt University, Jordan and Senior Researcher at University of Wales, UK. Dr. El-Hilo has 24 years research experience, in theory, modelling and experimental work in nonmagnetic particle systems. He is an author and co-author of more than 80 journal scientific papers. Dr. El-Hilo is the Editorial Secretary of the Journal of the Association of Arab Universities for Basic and Applied Science (JAAUBAS) and the Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Spintronic and Magnetic Nanomaterials (JSMN).

AkelDakhel
PhD in Physics, University of Lvov, Ukraine (formerly Soviet Union)

Dr. Dakhel has taught at Department of Physics at both Garyounis University and Constantine University. He is an author and co-author of more than 133 journal scientific papers and wrote 7 University level books. He has 35 years teaching experience and more than 40 years research experience in Solid State Physics. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Thin Films Science and Technology (IJTFST); Editorial member of Advances in Alloys and Compounds (AAC). Dr Dakhel area of expertise is in Solid State Physics, Thin Solid Films, Material Science and Characterization: Electrical, Optical, Magnetic. Transparent Conducting Oxides (TCO), Doping of Materials for the creation of new properties.

Assistant Professor

MohamedYousif
PhD in Physics, University of Durham, UK

Dr. Yousif has taught at the University of Mosul in Iraq and University of Sana’a in Yemen. He has 20 years teaching experience and 24 years research experience in Elementary Particle Theory. He is a co-author of more than 20 refereed journal scientific papers, organized and participated in many workshops in Bahrain and outside. Research visitor at CERN, 2010, ICTP (Italy), 2007 and IPPP (UK), 2002. His area of expertise and research is in QCD corrections to gauge boson production, multiple proton scattering, Weak gauge boson production, Higgs boson phenomenology, Nucleon charge structure.
