Dr. Humood Abdulla Nasser
PhD in Environmental Biology from Newcastle University, UK in 2007

Dr. Naser worked as an Environmental Specialist, Environmental Affairs, Bahrain (1999-2001). Then Joined the Department of Biology as Graduate Assistant (2001-2007). He developed several courses related to Environmental Science, Environmental Impact Assessment and Conservation Biology at the Department of Biology. He is an author of three books, six chapters, and author/co-author of several publications in referred journals. He is a fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK (2009), Member of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) (2003), and MidEast Corals Society (2013). The area of research is related to environmental and ecological impact assessment, conservation biology, effects of environmental pollutants on species and ecosystem and sustainable development.
