Dr. Fatima Abdulaziz AlShaer, a faculty member in Educational Technology at the Bahrain Teachers College, emphasized the importance of integrating technology, artificial intelligence tools, and interactive learning strategies in the preparation and delivery of presentations, due to their significant impact and resonance with audiences.
This came during an interactive workshop recently organized by the Legal and Human Rights Clinic Center at the University of Bahrain’s College of Law, titled: “Interactive Education Methods and Presentation Skills.” The workshop aimed to equip students enrolled in the Legal Clinic course with the necessary skills and tools for delivering effective presentations based on interactive learning strategies.
AlShaer introduced the latest applications and advanced software, such as AI-powered presentation creation tools and other interactive presentation programs. She highlighted the integration of technology and AI tools in presentation design, reflecting an awareness of the growing digital landscape in the Kingdom of Bahrain specifically, and the world in general.
On the sidelines of the workshop, a practical training session was held where students applied their newly acquired knowledge, demonstrated their skills, and prepared and delivered presentations that incorporated the techniques, innovative ideas, and applications discussed during the training.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Salah Mohammed Ahmed, indicated that this workshop is part of the Clinic’s program to develop the legal, cognitive, and research skills of Law College students, aiming to qualify them to advance legal work in a way that aligns with the needs of the community and the labor market.
He highlighted the workshop’s role in enhancing students’ presentation skills, understanding interactive learning strategies, and leveraging the potential of technology to achieve effective communication with the community and facilitate their integration into the job market after graduation.
