The College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain hosted Dr. Habib Ahmed, Professor of Islamic Finance at the School of Business Administration at Durham University in the United Kingdom, in a lecture titled “Islamic Finance: Current Issues, Global Practices and Future Directions”, in which he spoke on the importance of Islamic finance in achieving economic empowerment and sustainable development, and called for encouraging and financing green projects, and increasing and diversifying investment.
