The University of Bahrain has announced the launch of two new graduate programs for the upcoming academic year: the Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence at the College of Information Technology, and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counselling Psychology at the College of Arts.
In this context, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, stated that the Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence is designed for individuals from non-IT backgrounds who seek to leverage artificial intelligence and intelligent systems in their respective fields. He added that the program combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in artificial intelligence and data analysis.
Dr. Al-Ansari also noted that the Ph.D. program in Counselling Psychology at the College of Arts aims to equip students with both theoretical foundations and practical skills in the field of counseling supervision. This is achieved through the study and application of supervision models and theories across various areas, including: family counseling, career counseling, e-supervision, supervision with special populations such as the elderly, and supervision in complex cases such as psychological crises and trauma.
