A Workshop at UoB Showcases the Tasks and Skills of Insurance Actuary

The Department of Mathematics at the College of Science at the University of Bahrain organized a workshop titled “An Overview of Insurance Industry and Insights on the Requirements of being an Actuary”, as part of the department’s activities for the current academic year 2023-2024.

The workshop was presented by Inas Asiri, CEO of Bahrain National Life Insurance Company (BNL). The workshop reviewed the different job tasks of insurance companies, the acquired skills needed to obtain the job -considering the high competitiveness in the market- and touched on the latest developments and trends in the insurance sector.
