It is my pleasure to welcome you to the webpage of the Competitiveness and Organizational Development Directorate at the University of Bahrain. Our Directorate is committed to supporting the University’s vision and aspirations for academic excellence and leadership while strengthening its competitiveness at the regional and international levels.
In line with the University’s commitment to adopting international standards and best practices, the Directorate plays a key role in promoting continuous improvement. By strengthening quality assurance and academic accreditation and enhancing overall performance, we contribute to achieving the University’s strategic objectives.
The Directorate also places particular emphasis on improving the University’s competitive standing through effective measurement and evaluation mechanisms, evidence-based decision-making, and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and transparency across the University. We believe that institutional excellence is achieved through collaboration and shared commitment. Therefore, we work closely with colleges and departments to enhance performance, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and sustain continuous improvement that contributes to better educational outcomes and institutional services.
In closing, we remain committed to working together with the University community and its partners to achieve higher levels of excellence and competitiveness. About The Center
The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Centre (QAAC) was established during the academic year 2009-2010 as an essential part of the University’s commitment to promote quality of education. The role of QAAC is to maintain quality standards, processes, and measures for achieving national and international accreditation, and to establish a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through regular training of faculty and staff.
