VISION

Striving to be a key player in quality assurance and compliance, influencing excellence and setting relevant standards in organizational effectiveness.

MISSION

To support the university in achieving its strategic vision by promoting a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement, and supporting efforts to achieve national and international accreditations.

VALUES

The QAAC values are considered the base of all quality systems and processes which contributes to the achievement of its vision.
The following are the values of the QAAC:

  1. Innovation: Continuously pursuing creative solutions for quality, compliance and enhancement.
  2. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, policies, and bylaws.
  3. Sustainability: Emphasizing lasting quality assurance and compliance practices to ensure organizational resilience and ongoing adaptation, thereby maintaining high standards over time.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  1. Supporting the university in achieving its strategic vision by promoting a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement and support efforts to achieve national and international accreditations.
  2. Develop, reviewe, and monitor the implementation of quality assurance and enhancement policies and procedures.
  3. Conect with relevant external bodies to ensure that the University of Bahrain aligns with requirements and best practices for quality assurance and enhancement.
  4. Provide support and advice for quality assurance and enhancement at all levels of the university.
  5. Support institutional and program accreditation processes and content with relevant national and international organizations and agencies.
  6. Promote the collection of feedback from stakeholders.
  7. Maintain a database of quality-related documents and records and make them available to relevant parties.
  8. Report on quality assurance policies, procedures, and other standards and ensure their availability.
  9. Organize capacity-building events for faculty and staff development in the field of quality assurance and accreditation.
