University of Bahrain and United Arab Emirates University Partnership

The University of Bahrain (UoB) and the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 22 November 2023 during the 11th Joint Committee Meeting between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, held in Abu Dhabi. The MoU was signed by Prof. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, and H.E. Dr. Zaki Anwar, Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University.

The agreement aims to strengthen international academic cooperation through joint research, data exchange, and faculty and student mobility. It focuses on collaborative research programs, shared data initiatives, and capacity-building that support the implementation and measurement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This partnership enhances regional academic integration and supports evidence-based policymaking by enabling both institutions to gather, share, and utilize data for SDG research and reporting.
