University of Bahrain and Royal College of Surgeons Discuss Joint Academic and Research Cooperation

President of the University of Bahrain, Professor Dr. Riyad Yousif Hamzah, emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination between universities in academic and research fields, and benefiting from diverse expertise to elevate the performance and outcomes of universities.

This came during his meeting with President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain Branch, Professor Dr. Sameer Al-Atoom, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, held in his office on Tuesday morning, Dr. Hamzah praised the Royal College of Surgeons and its role in supplying the labor market with well-trained and competent graduates. He expressed his hope to develop and strengthen these relations for the mutual benefit of both institutions.

The President of the University of Bahrain welcomed the prospects of collaboration, coordination, and the launch of joint initiatives and projects.

For his part, Professor Dr. Sameer Al-Atoom expressed his gratitude to the President of the University of Bahrain and congratulated him on the royal trust granted through his appointment as President of the national university in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He welcomed scientific cooperation and the exchange of diverse expertise between the two universities, wishing the University of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
