Dr. Zhang Fangxi, a specialist in traditional Chinese medicine, affirmed that traditional Chinese remedies do not have side effects. She explained that this form of medicine helps people alleviate pain and everyday symptoms through techniques such as head and abdominal massage.
This statement came during a lecture titled “Traditional Chinese Medicine,” held as part of Chinese Culture Week recently organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Bahrain’s Sakhir campus.

Traditional Chinese medicine encompasses a range of treatments aimed at alleviating pain, including acupuncture, massage therapy, and herbal remedies.
Chinese Culture Week at the University of Bahrain concluded with a series of events and sessions aimed at introducing participants to the principles and practices of traditional Chinese medicine.
