Nursing Department Educates Students on Multiple Sclerosis

The Department of Neurosciences at the Centers of Excellence, in collaboration with the Training and Development Department of Government Hospitals and the University of Bahrain, organized a public awareness event on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the university’s Sakhir campus, on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

The event attracted a large audience and featured scientific lectures on MS causes, symptoms, and treatments, interactive competitions to engage attendees, a powerful documentary film highlighting patient experiences, and an awareness exhibition providing key information and resources.

Several University of Bahrain students living with MS shared their stories, reinforcing the university’s commitment to health awareness and community support. The event successfully raised public understanding of the disease while offering reassurance about available treatments and support systems.
