Economics & Finance Students Explore Insurance & Risk Management

Students of Economics & Finance at the College of Business Administration explored insurance and risk management in a seminar titled “Industry Insights: The Role of Insurance in Modern Risk Management” led by Mr. Ali Shaban, Head of Motor Department at Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C.

Mr. Ali Shaban discussed the history and evolution of insurance, risk management processes, types of risks organizations face, the nature of risk, and the insurance policy life cycle. The session effectively bridged theory and practice, enabling students to connect academic concepts with real-world applications in the insurance sector.
