BTC Students Promote Environmental Awareness on Sustainability Day

Bahrain Teachers College students marked Sustainability Day through engaging activities organized by the college’s Sustainability Committee. The event educated participants on sustainable living practices for home, university, work, and community environments.

Students joined interactive competitions, creative writing exercises, and poster design sessions to learn practical ways to reduce their carbon footprint. The program included hands-on activities like harvesting produce from campus green spaces.

A highlight was the screening of a documentary about sustainable lifestyles. The ceremony concluded with awards for winners of the recent Ramadan challenge, recognizing students who avoided single-use plastic water bottles throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
