UOB Explores Language Issues at Applied Linguistics Conference

The University of Bahrain hosted the conference “Applied Linguistics: Theoretical Issues and Educational Applications”, organized jointly by Bahrain Teachers College and the College of Arts, and attended by Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain.
The conference sessions discussed; “Applied Linguistics and Language Acquisition”, moderated by Dr. Dheya Abdullah Al Kaabi, Dean of the College of Arts, “Linguistic Diversity and Multiculturalism”, moderated by Sami Abdullah Rahmouni, Lecturer of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at BTC, and “Applied Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence”, moderated by Dr. Sohaib Mohammed Ahmed from English Language Department at BTC.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to advancing linguistic and educational research to strengthen Bahrain’s academic and teaching systems
