University of Bahrain Trains Its Employees on Risk Management

Several academics and administrators at the University of Bahrain took part in two awareness workshops on risk management, organized by the University’s Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership, on Sunday and Monday (June 15–16, 2025).

Held at the College of Business Administration, the workshops aimed to raise awareness of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) concepts and equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to identify, analyze, and plan for various types of risks, thereby enhancing the University’s preparedness and service sustainability.

The sessions featured interactive hands-on activities and analysis of real-life cases, giving participants practical experience in risk assessment and the development of effective response plans.

The workshops were delivered by Dr. Raed E. Al-Jowder, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, and Dr. Noor Nabeel Aldoy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design, both from the College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain.
