University of Bahrain Trains Customs Officials in Training Skills

The University of Bahrain recently held a training workshop for customs officials from the Ministry of Interior, aimed at preparing trainers equipped with basic training skills and adult learning principles. The workshop enabled participants to design courses that employ modern techniques and engaging, effective teaching methods. It also focused on enhancing public speaking skills, group management, and professional training through evaluation strategies to measure effectiveness.

The workshop, accredited by Advance HE, was presented by Dr. Amal Mohamed AlRayes, Director of the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL); Dr. Raed Ebrahim Al-Jowder from the College of Engineering; and Dr. Hana Saeed Bawazir from the College of Business Administration.

The workshop was organized by the Continuing Education and Community Development Department in collaboration with UTEL at the University of Bahrain.
