UOB President Participates in the 28th Meeting of the Committee of Presidents and Directors of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the GCC Countries

Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, participated in the 28th meeting of the Committee of Presidents and Directors of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the GCC countries. The meeting was hosted by Al-Jouf University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Dr. Al Ansari noted that the meeting gained significant interest from Gulf universities, emphasizing that such gatherings are a fundamental pillar for unifying Gulf efforts and enhancing cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research. He also praised the rich discussions, which addressed key topics such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship. These discussions, he affirmed, directly contribute to increasing the efficiency and quality of our universities’ outputs and pave the way for achieving integration and leadership at the global level
