University of Bahrain Collaboration with ISACA Bahrain and the Rotary Club of Manama – School Bags and Stationery Donation Drive
In continuation of its efforts to strengthen collaboration between higher education, professional associations, and civil society, the University of Bahrain contributed to another community‑service initiative led by ISACA Bahrain Chapter in partnership with the Rotary Club of Manama. The campaign involved providing school bags and basic stationery supplies to children from low‑income families before the start of the new academic year, ensuring that all learners had the essential materials to participate confidently in school. University faculty and student volunteers assisted with organizing, packaging, and distributing the supplies while helping raise public awareness about the importance of inclusive and equitable education. The initiative united academia, professional organizations, and community groups around a common goal of empowering young people and supporting equal educational opportunities for all. It further strengthened UOB’s engagement in social outreach, ethical leadership, and service‑learning — values that lie at the core of its strategic direction toward sustainability and civic responsibility. By partnering with community stakeholders and global professional networks, the University of Bahrain advances the objectives of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), translating academic expertise and volunteer energy into real improvements in the lives of children and families across Bahrain
