UOB Joins Global WHO Committee for Nursing and Midwifery

The University of Bahrain (UOB) has strengthened its global health role through membership in the WHO Global Network of Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery since 2020. This position enables UOB to contribute directly to global health policy, implement WHO initiatives, and provide technical expertise in nursing workforce development. The collaboration supports Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health) and 17 (Partnerships), enhancing cross-border cooperation in health policy innovation and capacity building, while reinforcing the university’s contribution to global health frameworks.
