The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, alongside a number of ministers, officials, academics, and parents, at the Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall on the university’s Sakhir campus.

During the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the University of Bahrain’s Board of Trustees delivered a speech expressing immense pride in the educational journey of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which receives support, attention, and patronage from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Excellency the Minister also extended his highest expressions of thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his gracious patronage of this ceremony, which represents the greatest support and backing for the journey of the University of Bahrain and its graduates across various scientific specializations.

His Excellency the Minister congratulated the graduating students and their parents on this occasion, praising the university’s administration, represented by its Board of Trustees, the University President, and all academic and administrative staff. He highlighted the pioneering role the university plays in nurturing students and graduating successive cohorts of decision-makers, as well as qualified national cadres equipped with modern knowledge.

For his part, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, delivered a speech in which he stated that the university’s graduates hold prominent positions in various state institutions. He noted that they contribute with their knowledge and competence to the comprehensive development renaissance and provide commendable national performance in all sectors, adding that their academic and professional influence has extended beyond the nation’s borders to regional and international forums.

In turn, graduating student Amina Mohammed Al Janahi from the College of Law delivered the graduates’ speech, stating: “This is a day of joy and pride in what we have achieved, a day where we reminisce together about this beautiful journey we spent in the fields of knowledge and learning within our national university. We are eager to embark on a new journey in the diverse fields of work and life, applying all that we have learned.”

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the University of Bahrain’s Board of Trustees honored 23 students who received Academic Excellence Awards, 168 top-performing students from various colleges, and 96 graduating students from the College of Health and Sport Sciences.
