UOB Showcases Latest Computing and Innovation Trends at the 8th ICT Conference

Participants at the 8th International Conference on Innovation and Intelligence for Informatics, Computing, and Technologies 2025, held at the University of Bahrain, discussed the latest developments in computing, modern technologies, and innovative research.

The conference aims to enhance cooperation between universities and the technology sector, support pioneering research projects, and contribute to shaping the future of technology. It also provides an international platform that brings together researchers and industry experts to exchange knowledge and stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements.

Organized by the College of Information Technology, the conference hosted a number of international speakers. These included: Dr. (CA) Durgesh Pandey, an expert in forensic accounting and financial investigations; Abubakar Mohamed, Chief Technology Officer of Beyon Cyber; Professor Kevin Curran, a cybersecurity expert from Ulster University; and Dr. Ramzi Haraty from the Lebanese American University.

Participants addressed multiple themes, including: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, the Metaverse, FinTech, the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Smart Cities, Software Engineering, Robotics, Computer Vision, E-learning, Communications, Informatics, and wmen’s role in technology.
