UOB Educates its Students on the Importance of Physical Activity as a Lifestyle

Students from the Bahrain Teachers College (BTC) at the University of Bahrain (UOB) participated in an awareness lecture titled “Physical Activity is a Lifestyle”. The lecture was presented by Dr. Nabeel Taha Al Shehab, an international lecturer and trainer, who also serves as the Director of the Olympic Academy at the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

The lecture, which was organized by the Community Service and Continuing Education Center in collaboration with the Bahrain Teachers College, aimed to educate students on the importance of physical activity for individuals and to raise awareness of its role and impact in improving both physical and psychological health. The lecture discussed positive psychological aspects for both students and teachers.

The lecture specifically targeted fourth-year students at the BTC, as well as UOB students in general. It witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees, who expressed interest in applying the acquired physical and psychological concepts in their daily lives and classroom environments.
