UOB Hosts Experts to Discuss Practical Auditing

University of Bahrain students were introduced to the essential set of skills and knowledge required to build a successful career in auditing.

The Accounting Department at the College of Business Administration organized a specialized session titled “Auditing: A Practical Perspective”. During the session, a select group of field experts provided valuable insights to the university students.

The session focused on enhancing the practical aspect of the auditing profession, where attendees discussed the most prominent standards applied in the sector and the most important challenges faced by practitioners in the field.

The event featured experts from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Middle East, including: Vivek Mandowara, Director; Ali Yousaf, Senior Associate; and Razan Al Humaid, Senior Consultant.

The session was moderated by Dr. Gagan Kukreja, an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at UOB.
