UOB Hosts Sports Festival for People of Determination

 

The Deanship of Student Affairs at the University of Bahrain organized a sports festival for people of determination, celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event was held in cooperation with the Bahrain Paralympic Committee and the Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities.

The festival featured live demonstrations and sports and artistic performances presented by athletes with special needs, alongside a display of their achievements. The event also included organized competitions in Paralympic sports, as well as various boccia tournaments.

Through these activities, the University of Bahrain affirms its commitment to promoting the inclusion of people of determination in society, supporting sports as an educational tool, highlighting their athletic abilities, and showcasing their professional potential.
