UOB Hosts Session on Marketing Strategies for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Students at the University of Bahrain’s College of Business Administration gained a deeper understanding of advanced marketing strategies and their practical applications in the world of entrepreneurship during a dialogue session.
The Department of Management and Marketing organized a session titled “Innovate and Captivate: Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs” presented by a group of experts.
The session featured a presentation by Ms. Ghaidaa Mohammed, Communications and Outreach Manager at Bahrain FinTech Bay – Innovate for Bahrain. She shared essential insights on avoiding the product-versus-awareness trap, the critical need to understand one’s audience through segmentation and clear customer definition, and structuring an effective marketing funnel for entrepreneurs.
Ms. Wasan Al Marhoon, founder of the e-commerce company “Aline,” discussed a brand philosophy based on personal identity. She explained how she transformed planning tools into a meaningful, personal journey for her target audience, emphasizing the value of bundled offers and marketing through local partnerships.
Mr. Khaled Sater, Founder and CEO of “Saleem,” provided valuable lessons on building trust in the digital healthcare sector. His approach focuses on human-centered storytelling, designing clear and frictionless user workflows, and leveraging data to drive informed marketing decisions.
