Dr. Al-Jowder Introduces Law Faculty to AI Usage Policies

Faculty members of the College of Law at the University of Bahrain were briefed on the general guidelines and policies governing the use of artificial intelligence technologies at the university, during an interactive workshop organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership under the title “AI Usage Policy at the University of Bahrain”.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Raed Ebrahim Al-Jowder, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the College of Engineering, who presented guidelines on the academic and research use of AI, methods of integrating it to support teaching at the College of Law, as well as the procedures to be followed in cases of policy violations.

Dr. Al-Jowder also provided practical examples illustrating how the AI usage policy can be applied across various academic fields, with a focus on applications relevant to teaching courses in the College of Law.
