Training Workshop at the University of Bahrain on Designing Rubrics for Student Assessment

The Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership at the University of Bahrain organized a workshop on Tuesday, titled “Assessment Using Rubrics.” The workshop was aimed at faculty members from the College of Law.

The sessions covered several key topics, including techniques for designing evaluation forms, and the framework of rubrics that outline the fundamental principles and essential elements required when creating evaluation forms. These tools are used to measure student performance and assess their activities and projects as part of the academic process.

The workshop, delivered by Dr. Hasan Mohsin Al-Wadi, Associate Professor at Bahrain Teachers College, featured a variety of individual and group activities, along with opportunities for exchanging expertise and academic practices related to student performance evaluation methods.
