The Add Seat service available during the course add/drop period

Allows students to request an additional seat in a full class section of a course. The request is submitted to the head of the academic department during the early registration period or the add/drop period.

  • Conditions

    • No alternative sections are available that fit the student’s schedule or have vacant seats.
    • The student has fulfilled the prerequisite required for course registration.
  • Governing Laws and Regulations

    • Article (20) of the study and examination regulations at the University of Bahrain
  • eService

    1. The request is submitted through the Student Information Management System.
    2. The response is provided by the head of the academic department concerned with the course, or their delegate, either with approval or rejection.
  • Processing Time

    • During the registration, add, and drop period.
