University of Bahrain Connects Staff Roles to Sustainable Development Goals

University of Bahrain (UOB) staff participated in a workshop titled “Your Work is Our Future: Promoting Sustainability at University of Bahrain,” organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership, on Wednesday (November 12, 2025).

The workshop introduced participants to key concepts of sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and highlighted how these goals align with the University’s strategic plan.

Through discussions and activities, participants identified relevant goals, connected their roles to sustainability, and proposed practical ideas to support Bahrain’s Vision 2030.

The workshop was led by Dr. Muna Ebrahim Mohamed from the Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari College for Teachers at UOB.
