University of Bahrain Organizes Diverse Activities for Bahrain Sports Day
The University of Bahrain organized a variety of activities as part of Bahrain Sports Day, featuring a comprehensive program that promoted health, fitness, and community engagement. The event began with registration and health screenings, followed by a walking activity that encouraged participants to stay active.
The program also included a “Strongest Man” challenge, the opening of the games arena, a gymnastics performance, and a taekwondo show. In addition, attendees enjoyed a basketball showcase by the Bahraini Special Olympics team, a football performance, and concluded the day with a relaxing yoga session, with the presence of university members including academic and administrative staff and students, as well as Qadeha Program participants and University of Bahrain alumni.
This event reflects the University’s commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at promoting physical activity, reinforcing sports as a way of life, and enhancing public health and a positive work environment.
