UOB Trains Academics in Designing AI-Enhanced Educational Materials

Academics at the University of Bahrain acquired the skills to design educational materials enhanced by artificial intelligence, following their participation in a workshop organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership on Wednesday (December 10, 2025). The workshop was titled “Embracing AI in the Classroom: Transforming Assessment.”

Participants in the workshop explored practical methods for integrating AI into teaching and assessment, as well as automating the grading process. This aimed to equip academics with the essential skills to make the learning process more efficient and engaging, enabling them to focus more intently on their students.

The workshop was delivered by Mrs. Tara Fryad Henari, Senior Lecturer in the Technical and Administrative Programs Department at the College of Information Technology, University of Bahrain.
