University of Bahrain Board of Trustees Holds Regular Meeting

The University of Bahrain Board of Trustees held its second regular meeting of 2026, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board, and attended by board members and invitees via video conferencing.

At the start of the meeting, the Board was briefed on the latest developments regarding the construction, investment, and academic projects being undertaken by the university at its Sakhir campus, aimed at diversifying its resources and enhancing its teaching and operations.

The Board was also updated on several partnerships and memoranda of understanding concluded between the University of Bahrain and a number of local, regional, and international entities.

Furthermore, the Board reviewed the reports submitted by the Academic Committee and the Audit and Finance Committee, made the necessary decisions regarding the recommendations contained therein, and tasked the university’s leadership with following up on their implementation.
