President of the University of Bahrain discusses strengthening academic and research cooperation with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus

Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, received His Excellency Dr. Andreas Eliades, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of following up on the activation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed last April between the University of Bahrain and the University of Cyprus, and to discuss mechanisms for implementing its provisions while enhancing academic and research cooperation and the exchange of expertise between higher education institutions in both countries.

During the meeting, the President of the University of Bahrain reaffirmed the University’s commitment to activating its international partnerships and transforming agreements into practical programs and projects that support the quality of education and scientific research, and contribute to advancing areas of joint cooperation with global universities.

For his part, the Ambassador of Cyprus expressed his aspiration to further expand academic and research cooperation between the two sides, and to open new avenues for joint initiatives that contribute to strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus in the field of higher education and scientific research.
