University of Bahrain Trains Its Employees on Producing Short Visual Materials Using Canva

Employees of the University of Bahrain took part in a hands-on, practical training session on creating engaging and easy-to-produce visual materials, on Thursday, 12 February 2026. The session was held as an interactive, applied workshop titled “Visual Design for Everyone: Practical Canva Skills.”

The workshop focused on the fundamentals of using Canva to produce short videos and visual materials in a simple and smooth manner. It also concentrated on drag-and-drop tools, enabling participants to design professional-quality materials efficiently without the need for advanced design skills.

The workshop, organized by the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL), was delivered by Dr. Nehal Ali Almurbati, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering, University of Bahrain.
