University of Bahrain Holds the Second Edition of the “Skill Up” Program with Wide Student Participation
Students from the University of Bahrain participated in the second edition of the “Skill Up” program for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, held from 11 to 13 May 2026. The program was organized by the University’s Alumni Affairs Directorate in cooperation with INJAZ Bahrain and with the participation of a distinguished group of Bahraini labor market institutions.
The program aimed to enhance students’ professional readiness by bridging academic learning with the actual requirements of the labor market and equipping them with 21st-century skills through interactive workshops and mock job interviews.
Representatives from labor market institutions contributed to the program by delivering lectures that reflected the practical realities and demands of the workplace, in coordination with INJAZ Bahrain.
The first day featured a lecture titled “Labor Market Readiness,” delivered by representatives of Yusuf Khalil Almoayyed & Sons, while the second day included a lecture titled “21st Century Skills,” presented by Aluminium Bahrain (Alba).
Mock job interviews were also conducted on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, with the participation of faculty members from various colleges of the University, alongside a select group of experts from labor market institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including Lame’a and Training Plus Institute.
