University of Bahrain Showcases 52 Graduation Projects by Information Technology Students and Honors Outstanding Projects
The College of Information Technology at the University of Bahrain showcased 52 graduation projects on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, during an exhibition held on campus featuring projects by students from the college’s departments, including Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Systems.
The students presented practical, application-ready solutions across several vital fields, including cybersecurity, technology, health, society, tourism, commerce, and education. They employed a range of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The exhibition included projects from the college’s various specializations, namely: Computer Engineering and Network Engineering under the Computer Engineering Department; Computer Science and Software Engineering under the Computer Science Department; and Information Systems and Cybersecurity under the Information Systems Department.
The winning students were honored by Dr. Israa Ahmed Wali, Vice President for Planning and Development, and Dr. Mazen Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College of Information Technology.
The first-place winning projects included a smart glove for Arabic sign language, the development and evaluation of a mobile application for educational awareness in cybersecurity, improving investment strategies using machine learning algorithms, and a device that converts eye blinks into speech using Morse code (Blink Talk).
