University of Bahrain Showcases 73 Innovative Projects by College of Information Technology Students
The University of Bahrain showcased 73 graduation projects by students of the College of Information Technology, presenting innovative ideas and advanced, applicable technical solutions that can contribute to serving the community. The projects included the design of smart applications and systems focusing on artificial intelligence, AI agents, cybersecurity, recycling, and the rationalization of electricity consumption.
The projects reflected the level of academic preparation, as well as the technical and research skills acquired by students throughout their university journey. They represented the outputs of the Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Systems programs. The exhibition also featured a number of student ideas that were transformed into applicable technical solutions, contributing to the development of services in the health, security, education, administration, and works sectors, while strengthening the role of innovation in supporting sustainable development.
The exhibition included the honoring of students who won first places, in addition to presenting an award for the outstanding project, sponsored by Reboot.
The university also honored a number of partners and supporters of the exhibition, namely: the National Cyber Security Centre, Nasser Vocational Training Centre, the Information & eGovernment Authority, BENEFIT, Huawei Technologies Bahrain, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Reboot Coding Institute.
The Graduation Projects Exhibition attracted wide attendance from representatives of government and private entities, specialists and individuals interested in technical projects, artificial intelligence, and student innovations, as well as students, academic and administrative staff, and parents. This affirmed the importance of the exhibition as a platform for showcasing students’ creativity and strengthening partnerships between the university and the industry and technology sectors.
