University of Bahrain signed MoU with Colorado School of Mines to enhance academic collaboration
The University of Bahrain has signed, on March 31, 2026, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Colorado School of Mines to enhance joint research and academic collaboration. The MoU was signed by Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, and Dr. John Bradford, Vice President of the Colorado School of Mines. It aims to strengthen cooperation in areas such as joint scientific research, exchange of academic expertise, faculty and curriculum development, and the enhancement of research and teaching infrastructure.
The agreement includes provisions for developing collaborative research projects and related activities in fields such as petroleum engineering and exploration, carbon dioxide management, nuclear engineering, and partnerships to deliver executive training programs for leadership-oriented professionals in science and engineering. It also provides for the exchange of professors, academic fellows, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as the establishment of joint academic programs.
