Academics at University of Bahrain Author a Book on Classroom Management

A number of faculty members from Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College for Teachers at the University of Bahrain have recently co-authored an educational book titled The Art of Classroom Management: Innovative Strategies for Organizing the Classroom and Motivating Students to Excel.

The book aims to equip teachers overall, and especially early-career teachers, with the knowledge and skills needed to create safe and stimulating learning environments where students feel valued and supported, thereby enhancing their academic and personal growth.

The book consists of five main chapters. The first provides an introduction to classroom management, its components, and its importance. The second reviews theories explaining classroom management approaches and their orientations. The third is devoted to classroom management methods and strategies, while the fourth discusses classroom challenges and strategies for addressing them. The fifth examines learning environments and their role in achieving educational and learning objectives. The book also includes a variety of practical teaching applications.

The book highlights classroom management as a central element in delivering effective and inclusive education, helping to prepare students capable of learning and growing in a supportive and safe environment.

The five authors are: Dr. Ismail Alam Elmahdi, Dr. Abdulghani Ali Al-Hattami, Dr. Moosa Jaffar Fteel, Dr. Abdelbaky A. Abouzeid, and Dr. Shaban Milad Aldabbus.
