University of Bahrain Launches Four New Graduate Programs in Languages, Digital Media, and Creative Design
The University of Bahrain has announced the launch of four new graduate programs, beginning in the upcoming academic year, as part of its ongoing efforts to expand its academic offerings and strengthen its research ecosystem in line with emerging scientific and technological developments, national development priorities, and labor market needs.
Offered by the College of Arts, the new programs include three doctoral degrees: a Ph.D. in Arabic Language and Literature, a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics (English), and a Ph.D. in Digital Media and Communication. The College will also introduce a Master of Arts in Creative Media Design and Technology.
On the occasion, University of Bahrain President Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari stated that the introduction of these specialized programs reflects the University’s forward-looking strategy to equip national talent with advanced knowledge and skills while responding to the evolving demands of the job market in promising academic fields.
He added that the new programs are designed to enhance the competitiveness of the University’s academic outcomes, reinforce its leadership role in supporting national development, and contribute to the creation of innovative, knowledge-based solutions that keep pace with the rapid transformation of the digital era.
